Honda file

The first VFR400R, coded NC21, replaced the VF400F in Japan in 1986 as a road version of Honda's RVF400 works racer. It brought gear-driven cams, a 180-degree crank, an aluminium twin-tube frame and a full fairing with a single headlight to the 400 cc class. A hydraulic clutch, air-assisted forks with TRAC anti-dive and a 16-inch front wheel mark it out from the later versions.
